My Time went well.....
Needing to battle the health issues
keep fighting man.
Today I prayed through the verses on unity, humility, endurance, love, understanding. Prayed for all our bases and community - I strongly felt an encouragment from God...specifically from 1 Peter 4:7-10. Reminded of the urgency of the hour, the value of prayer, and the power of loving and forgiving each other. Also of the call to faithfully administer the grace (the power to overcome sin and walk humbly with God) of God through using the gifts that God has given each of us. This brings incredible value to our service...knowing that simply by using the gift that God has given us we are being stewards of his kingdom and grace.
I felt like God was going to continue to encourage our spirits and give us great endurance. I also felt the strong sense that God has been preparing us for this hour for some time...a track on the YouthStorm live CD had Bob Gladstone praying over our community, and the prayer was incredibly accurate for this season. Then the song prophetically declares that God is our strength and our shield.
I was praying specifically today for the men to take their stand and authority in the Spirit as things will be in order then.
We must not allow Jezebel to rob us or ours from our inheritance.
There is a danger of being complacent, slack, or lethargic and thus allowing ourselves to be taken by sin (which will zap our vision and life).
I believe God is saying He has other plans for us.
